My first attempt at "MIXED MEDIA"

I am still trying to find my cardmaking "style" and honestly I am not sure if I ever will since I am drawn to so many different ones.  On this card I tried my hand at "mixed media".  I find I really like that style but it seemed intimidating.

I used Tim Holtz mica spray on the background and then stamped over it using the Hero Arts Novel Prose prints stamp.  You can barely see it but it is my favorite part of the background (it's text from Alice in Wonderland)

Christmas Tags

I didn't get as many tags done as I wanted to...however I did get all my Christmas cards done!  Next year I will start making tags in January (like I did for my Christmas card) and that way I *should* have plenty done for next year! Here are a couple of the tags I did finish.   Both of the tags were made with products from The Greetery.

A Place To Start---September Challenge

September 2022----Anything goes w/Fantasy theme twist Our Sponsor this month is : Sheepski Designs I am so excited to be a member of this talented design team. This is my first month and it has already encouraged me to think outside the box. I hope you will play along with us this month! Also check out the sponsor Sheepski Designs, she has some adorable designs in her Etsy shop! What a fun challenge theme!  I used a few different companies on this card starting with the Reverse Confetti circle of waves die. I cut it multiple times from cardstock to try and mimic a rainbow.  The stamp set is Magical Friends from My Favorite Things and it was colored with Copic markers.  I used a Lawn Fawn cloud stencil to lightly stencil the background. To finish it off I cut black sparkle paper with a stitched rectangle die. The sentiment was embossed and for a little extra fun I dipped the little wand in glitter :) To see all the details for this challenge head on over to the  A Place To Start Blo
