Books Are Magical!

This is a super cute stamp set from My Favorite Things and I have been meaning to use it for so long now :)  The background is text from Alice In Wonderland and it is one of my favorite from Hero Arts.  The frame I used is from The Greetery.  I embossed the Book title several times with clear embossing powder to really make it shine.

This is also being entered into the NBUS Challenge #41

Christmas Tags

I didn't get as many tags done as I wanted to...however I did get all my Christmas cards done!  Next year I will start making tags in January (like I did for my Christmas card) and that way I *should* have plenty done for next year! Here are a couple of the tags I did finish.   Both of the tags were made with products from The Greetery.

My first attempt at "MIXED MEDIA"

I am still trying to find my cardmaking "style" and honestly I am not sure if I ever will since I am drawn to so many different ones.  On this card I tried my hand at "mixed media".  I find I really like that style but it seemed intimidating. I used Tim Holtz mica spray on the background and then stamped over it using the Hero Arts Novel Prose prints stamp.  You can barely see it but it is my favorite part of the background (it's text from Alice in Wonderland)
